A video of Luigi Mangione, 26-year-old suspect in the UnitedHealthcare murder of the Chief Executive Officer Brian Thompson, appeared on the internet, where he, in 2016, as valedictorian at Baltimore’s Gilman School said that his ambition was a course of study in artificial intelligence at the University of Pennsylvania.
He praised his students for creativity and determination where he showed successful fundraisings and achievements in education and sport. “To the class of 2016, a kind of class that only comes around once every 50 years, it’s been an incredible journey, and I simply can’t imagine the last few years with any other group of guys,” he said.

He further adds that “I believe that just having brilliant ideas is not what drives innovation; the class of 2016’s creativity also stems from their remarkable courage to be in uncharted territories and to take new challenges”.
Mangione was arrested in Altoona, Pennsylvania on Monday after police caught him in possession of an unlicensed firearm, a silencer, and counterfeit identification documents. The New York Police Department labeled him as “a strong person of interest” in the murder investigation into Brian Thompson, who was shot to death at an investors’ conference last week. Authorities remain to investigate his involvement in the killing after the emergence of the video because there is a vast difference between his past and present scenario.
