The Gruesome Act
The chilling visuals, which were captured by a CCTV camera installed in a residential area, show the car reversing and driving over the puppy multiple times. Initially, the vehicle, a Wagon R with a Delhi registration plate, appears to accidentally hit the dog, which was resting in the middle of the road. However, instead of ensuring the animal’s safety, the driver deliberately reverses and runs over the puppy again. This brutal act continued until the dog succumbed to its injuries.

The video quickly garnered attention online, with animal rights activists and netizens demanding justice for the innocent animal. Kaveri Rana, an animal activist, posted the footage on social media, urging the authorities to take immediate action. She identified the accused as a police officer and emphasised the cruelty of the act. “This evil man kept crushing the puppy even after it died,” Rana wrote, tagging the UP Police in her post.
