CCTV footage from the Luharli toll plaza in Greater Noida, under the jurisdiction of Dadri police station, has surfaced on social media. The video shows a sub-inspector of the Uttar Pradesh Police beating toll plaza employees for delaying his vehicle. The sub-inspector has been identified as Praveen Kumar, according to a report by TricityToday.com. Police have stated that the matter is under investigation and a search for the accused is ongoing.
The viral video, recorded by CCTV cameras at 8:55 am on Thursday, shows the sub-inspector arriving at the toll plaza in his car and immediately assaulting the toll workers. He then breaks through the toll plaza barrier, allowing several vehicles to pass without paying the toll.

Another video shows a scuffle between a toll plaza officer and a policeman, with the sub-inspector heard saying that he will not face any consequences for his actions. Following the circulation of these videos, the Dadri police station launched an investigation. The police have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and are yet to determine the sub-inspector’s current posting.
