In a bizarre case, a UP woman spotted her missing husband on Instagram reels with another woman. The man named Jitendra Kumar alias Bablu got married to Sheelu in 2017. Soon after the wedding, their relationship soured. Sheelu accused him of demanding dowry. including a gold chain and ring. When the demands were not met, she was forced out of the house, and she filed a complaint for dowry harassment.
During the investigation of the case, Jitendra suddenly disappeared in 2018. His father filed a missing person's report in April, but despite police efforts, he could not be found.

When Jitendra could not be found, his family accused Sheelu of murdering him and hiding his body. She lived under suspicion and police radar since then, unaware of her husband's whereabouts.
Recently, Sheelu discovered an Instagram reel where she saw her 'missing' husband, Jitendra, with another woman. He had remarried and started a new life. He believed that the past was left behind until this one mistake exposed him.
Sandila Circle Officer Santosh Singh confirmed his arrest. He is booked for bigamy, fraud, and dowry harassment.
