‘Up For A Beer, Vivek?’: ‘Fake Trump’s’ Text To This Comedian After War Leak

Indian comedian Vir Das, currently on tour in the United States, recently shared a series of unusual text messages allegedly sent by someone posing as former US President Donald Trump. In a now-viral Instagram post, Das revealed that the mysterious sender mistakenly referred to him as ‘Vivek,’ seemingly confusing him with biotech entrepreneur and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

Confusion Over Identity

The exchange began with the sender, identified as ‘DJT’ (a reference to Donald John Trump), texting Das about planning an ‘assault’ and inviting him to ‘watch some drones this weekend.’ The messages took an even more bizarre turn when the sender realized they had confused Das with someone else.

“Wait… Vivek?” the sender asked, only to be corrected by Das, who clarified, “No sir. This is Vir Das.” The impersonator then responded, “The f**k is a virdas? Your DP is a brown dude. You’re not Vivek?”

A Hilarious Exchange

As the confusion continued, the sender expressed frustration, stating, “There’s too f***ing many of you man. This is why I need Vivek.” When Das declined the drone-watching invite due to his comedy show at Brea Improv, the messages took a more aggressive turn.

“Wait, you’re a f***ing comedian? You have a podcast? You have 48 hours to leave the country. MAGA,” the sender wrote. Das humorously responded with a sarcastic, “Yes sir. No sir. Namaste.”

Internet Reacts to the Viral Post

Vir Das shared the exchange with the caption, “You’re NOT gonna believe this. Donald texted me by mistake.” While the post has amused fans and sparked widespread discussions, it remains unverified whether Das genuinely received the messages or if the screenshots were AI-generated. Regardless, the exchange has become a viral moment, adding another comedic twist to Das’s eventful career.
