UP Bride Asks Husband for Beer, Ganja on Wedding Night

This Saharanpur incident in the state of Uttar Pradesh sees the bride’s bizarre demands during her wedding night create such heated arguments between the two families that police are called upon.

The incident occurred during the traditional Muh Dikhai ceremony on the couple’s first night together, according to Deccan Chronicle. The bride reportedly shocked her husband by asking for beer, marijuana (ganja), and goat meat. While the groom agreed to bring beer, tensions grew when the bride insisted on the additional items.

Police Involvement

Feeling uncomfortable, the groom reached out to his family members. The bride’s insistence on intoxicants annoyed his family members, who felt the need to take things to the police station as well. Both families were crying foul at the local police station, with the groom’s family now leveling the charge that the bride was not female but one of the third gender types.

Despite these stunning allegations, neither family opted to take it to the courts. The police settled the matter and brought them together for a discussion and encouraged both families to solve the issue amicably.

Both families left the police station without taking action against each other. They decided to solve the matter within their own house. Although tension is still at its peak, no formal complaint was filed and the groom’s family will discuss the matter with the bride’s family.

This strange case has gained much attention in the local community, with many questioning the nature of the marriage and the bride’s strange requests.
