Unexpected Delivery: Colombian Woman Finds Lizard Instead Of Air Fryer From Amazon

Nowadays, many people prefer buying their favorite stuff online, but receiving the wrong or damaged items is not a rare case. It might bring several hiccups even when convenience remains the king in online shopping. Recently, this is what happened to a Colombian lady.

The lady was so shocked when unwrapping her package that she posted a picture of the surprise item on social media, which made netizens lose a sweat.

According to a report by the Daily Star, a woman named Sofia Serrano had ordered an air fryer for her home. But when the parcel arrived, she was horrified by what she found inside. Sofia, a resident of Colombia, reportedly ordered the air fryer from Amazon, but instead of getting the appliance, she got a massive lizard. She shared this on her X handle, formerly Twitter, with a caption to the post that read: “We ordered an air fryer through Amazon. It arrived with a companion. I don’t know whose fault it was, Amazon’s or the carrier’s,” when translated to English. She was shocked when she opened a box and found a big lizard inside, later identified as a Spanish Rock Lizard. As of the writing of this report, Amazon has not made any constructive offer for the problem Sofia encountered.

The post immediately went viral on X and received more than 4.1 million views. Many users commented on it, and some of the comments include, “I’ll die if this happens to me. On the other hand, I feel for the little animal. It must be all scared, hungry and thirsty,” with others adding, “New fear unlocked.”
