Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ has been making records at the box office ever since its release on September 7. The film has earned over Rs 518 crore at the domestic box office till now and is still going strong in theatres. In the global market, the film crossed the Rs 900-crore mark. It is now eyeing Rs 1000 crore. The movie comes in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. Billed as a high-octane action thriller that outlines “the emotional journey of a man who is set to rectify the wrongs in the society”, the film stars Shah Rukh in the dual role of Vikram Rathore and his son Azad. It also stars Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt in special appearances. Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover and Mukesh Chhabra round out the cast of the movie. A Red Chillies Entertainment presentation, Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. Shah Rukh is now the only Bollywood star to have delivered two $100 million-plus grossers in one calendar year, and with Dunki just a few months away, he is looking at a hattrick of hits.
