A 23-year-old student from India tragically lost his life in the United States after accidentally shooting himself with a hunting gun on his birthday. The incident occurred on November 13, as Aryan Reddy was celebrating his special day with friends at his home in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to officials, Reddy had taken out his new hunting gun to clean it during the celebration. Unfortunately, while handling the firearm, he accidentally discharged a bullet, which struck him in the chest.
Upon hearing the gunshot, Reddy’s friends, who were in another room, rushed to his side and found him lying in a pool of blood. In a desperate attempt to save him, they quickly took him to a nearby hospital, but he was declared dead shortly after.
Aryan Reddy was a second-year Master of Science student at Kansas State University, Atlanta. Originally from Bhuvanagiri in Telangana, his family currently resides in the Uppal district. Authorities have confirmed that Reddy’s body will be transported to his hometown later tonight for funeral arrangements.
