Tourist Argues With Delhi Rickshaw Puller Over Fare, Locals Come To Rescue

A viral video of a heated argument between a foreign tourist and a rickshaw puller in Delhi has gone viral, garnering 1.6 million views on Instagram. According to reports, the tourist had shot the video. It shows the heated exchange between them over a fare dispute in the Chandni Chowk area.

In the video, the rickshaw puller demands Rs. 1,500, but the tourist offers Rs. 500, handing the note over. However, the driver still insists on more money. The argument escalates as bystanders intervene, and it is revealed that the Rs. 500 was a gift, not part of the fare. The locals urge the rickshaw puller to return the money, but he refuses.

The video, published by Instagram user @samesamevic, says in the caption: “Scammed in India on Day 1 – But Locals Saved Me!”
