Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated all across India with grand celebrations and devotion. The festival marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, a deity who is believed to bring good fortune, wisdom, and prosperity. People decorate their homes, streets with pandals and Ganpati idols and gather to seek blessings.
A pandal in Raipur has gone viral this year for its uniqueness. The idol of Ganpati Bappa is reportedly distributing 'prasad' on its own.

A viral Instagram video shows a man visiting the pandal at Phool Chowk, Badhai Para Road. Alongside the idol, a large mouse, Lord Ganesha’s traditional vahana, is displayed with an open mouth. The visitor drops a small white ball or ‘batti’ into the mouse’s mouth. Moments later, as he places his hand near Ganesha’s palm, a laddu pops out.

Delighted, the man exclaims, “Ganpati ji prasad de diye hai.” The clip was captioned, “Ladduu wale bappa.”
The creative setup quickly became a sensation, amassing over 13 million views. Social media was flooded with witty comments.
One user joked, “Tapu sena cannot do this type of decoration in his all life.”
Another asked, “Are they hiring for a backstage boy job?” while someone quipped, “When an engineer doesn’t have work.”

On the other hand, many praised the creativity, calling it 'beautiful'. The trend also sparked comparisons with the viral 'Technologia' meme. Swiggy Instamart
joined the fun, commenting, 'Technolgia' while Swiggy India wrote, 'Ganpati Bappa Morya'.
Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations began on August 27 this year and will conclude with Ganesh Visarjan on September 6.
