Teacher Assaults Student After Alleged ‘Sexual Remarks’ About His Mother | WATCH

A disturbing video that shows a teacher grabbing an 11-year-old student by the collar and throwing him to the ground has gone viral and shocked viewers across social media. The incident reportedly occurred on December 6, 2024, at DeRenne Middle School in Georgia, USA.

The alleged assailant, who has not been named by school authorities, is identified as TJ; the sixth-grader accused of attacking a teacher last week after TJ had been complaining about some of this teacher‘s remarks to his family.

WATCH THE VIRAL VIDEO:

I was informed he made inappropriate comments concerning me, and my child was upset,” Russell said of the incident to WTOC. The viral video taken online captures the violent action of the teacher, eliciting outrage and debates over how people should act in schools.
The video has created divided social media discussions. While a lot ofpeople have slammed the teachers actions, saying they are unacceptable and abusive, others said maybe the students behavior had contributed to the whole situation.

This is absolutely unacceptable. Thankfully, smartphones now capture these abuses.” Another commented, Kids these days have no respect. Older folk also need to control their emotions.”

Other users were neutral, highlighting how incidents like this create fear for both students and teachers.

Mother Demands Justice

Even though her teacher has quit, Russell urged that action must be legally taken. He must be imprisoned. He humiliated my child. The thought of his action hurts for I will not do anything to hurt my son, she told Savannah Morning News. Till date no police complaint nor a suit has been filed but she seeks justice.

Scam in the Interpersonal Relations by Teachers

This incident is part of a viral controversy involving another teacher earlier this year for inappropriate comments against a student made in private when discussing fitness. Such instances have repeatedly causeda buzz about the school boundaries and educators conduct in the classroom.

There has not been any statement released by the school addressing this issue with the teacher and the actions that should be undertaken to ensure that something similar does not happen again in the future.
