A newlywed bride in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur left her husband and in-laws stunned on their wedding night by making unexpected demands. During the traditional ‘Muh Dikhai’ ceremony, the bride reportedly asked her husband for a beer, marijuana, and goat meat. While the husband initially agreed to fulfil her request for a beer, her additional demands alarmed the family.
The situation escalated when the groom informed his family about the bride’s requests, leading to a heated discussion. Unable to reconcile with the bride’s demands for intoxicants and meat, the family decided to seek help from the local police.
At the police station, both families were counselled by authorities. Although no formal complaint was filed, tensions ran high during the discussions. In a dramatic twist, the groom’s family accused the bride of not being biologically female, alleging she belonged to the third gender.
Despite the serious accusations, both parties agreed to resolve the issue privately and left the police station with plans to address the matter within their families.
This bizarre incident has sparked conversations about unexpected cultural dynamics and individual differences within arranged marriages. While the families continue to address the situation, the bride’s demands and the accusations against her remain a topic of intrigue and debate in the local community.
