The video, posted by social activist Suman Pakad, shows a student slicing a birthday cake while another person opens a bottle of beer, with teachers present in the background.
The caption is: “Cake on the table, beer bottle in hand – birthday celebration in the classroom. Neither a hotel nor a resort – a temple of education turned into a party venue. Cake on the table and beer bottle in hand, with ‘Happy Birthday’ shouts. This is not any five-star hotel or resort incident, but of the temple of education. This video has emerged from Government Hanuman College of Mauganj district, Madhya Pradesh, where drinks are being consumed in the temple of education.”

In a second news report, yet another clip presents three students seemingly hanging from a noose during a school play. The prank, meant to mimic a punishment scene in prisoner attire, raised alarm about the safety of the students. The date and location of the video could not be verified by Times Now, but the play is guessed to have been performed on Republic Day, two days prior to the posting of the video.
