Spotted: Mark Zuckerberg Wearing Rs. 1 Crore Watch After Praising Anant Ambani’s Timepiece

Mark Zuckerberg was recently seen wearing a luxury Patek Philippe watch worth over ₹1 crore in a photo he shared on Instagram. The Meta CEO, currently ranking as the world’s third richest person, confirmed the make and model of the watch in response to an Instagram user’s comment, revealing it to be a Patek Philippe Calatrava Perpetual Calendar, reference “5236P.”

Zuckerberg posted the picture on September 2, showing him with his arm around his wife, Priscilla Chan. Watch enthusiasts quickly identified the wristwatch as a model from the prestigious Swiss brand Patek Philippe, renowned for its high-end, exclusive timepieces. When an Instagram user inquired, “Patek Philippe which reference?” Zuckerberg replied, “5236P,” indicating the specific model of the Calatrava Perpetual Calendar, known for its classic design and perpetual calendar feature.

Although Patek Philippe does not display prices on its website for high-end items, various sources online suggest that this model typically ranges between $120,000 and $150,000 (over Rs. 1 crore), depending on the materials, model variations, and added features. Details of this timepiece were further highlighted by the Watch Newz Instagram page.

This image of Zuckerberg with the Patek Philippe watch surfaced months after he was seen admiring Anant Ambani’s luxury watch at pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar. Back in March, videos showed Zuckerberg and his wife marveling at the watch on Ambani’s wrist.

In the interaction, Zuckerberg was heard saying, “You know, I never really wanted to get a watch. But…I might want that,” as he asked about the watchmaker. Ambani revealed that he was wearing a Richard Mille creation. Reports indicate Anant Ambani’s watch was a Richard Mille RMS-10 Tourbillon Koi Fish, crafted in 18-carat rose gold and featuring diamonds and a 3D koi fish design. Though its exact price is unknown, estimates suggest it could cost at least USD 1 million (around Rs. 8.4 crore).
