An Uber Eats driver in Washington Township, New Jersey, discovered an unexpected surprise while delivering a burrito. The driver, who had picked up the order in Lindenwold, noticed a strong marijuana scent coming from the bag while en route to Glassboro. Concerned, the driver pulled over in Washington Township and called the police for assistance.
According to a November 24, 2024, Instagram post from the Washington Township police, an officer “unwrapped the foil surprise” and found over an ounce of raw marijuana, a bottle of water, and a box of soup—replacing the expected rice and beans. “This wasn’t the kind of wrap anyone ordered,” the police humorously stated.

The police also posted a call for information, asking anyone with knowledge of the “extra greens” to contact their Detective Bureau. “If you know anything about this high-flying delivery, call our Detective Bureau at 856-589-0330,” they wrote.
In another unrelated case, a high-tech marijuana operation was busted in Greater Noida, where an English graduate from Meerut was arrested. The man was caught cultivating over 100 marijuana plants, including premium varieties, in his flat at Parsvnath Panorama, and selling the produce on the dark web for Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000 each.
