Guests staying at a hotel in Rajasthan had a terrifying experience when they saw a 5-foot-long venomous cobra in the toilet commode. The cobra was seen on the second floor of the hotel in one of the most famous towns of Pushkar, Ajmer. In a shocking video from the hotel, the cobra is heard hissing from the commode. The management of the hotel immediately informed the Rajasthan Cobra Team about the horrible incident.
In the video, a woman could be heard saying, "Now we'll think carefully before sitting here." A man replied, "Absolutely." Another person added, "I'm not sitting here at all." They were also heard wondering, βHow did this cobra even reach the second floor?"
A clip soon went viral with people reacting to the horrific experience. Some were surprised to discover a snake in a hotel bathroom, while others shared similar experiences or joked about being doubly careful while in bathrooms.
Someone posted, "New fear unlocked."
Someone else said, "My nightmare every time I go to the washroom at night."
'As soon as you sit on this toilet, all your sins will be washed away,'" said one.
Another user claimed that a frog once jumped from her toilet seat unexpectedly.
Snake Safely Rescued From The Hotel
Authorities reported that the rescue was difficult, as the snake had assumed a defensive position inside the narrow area. After a successful operation, the crew successfully released the cobra in a nearby forest.

There was a similar incident last week when a poisonous snake entered the PG hostel for resident doctors on the campus of MBS and JK Lone Hospital in Kota city's Nayapura area. Doctors of the hotel were shocked to spot the venomous black cobra slithering through the toilet into a bathroom. They panicked and suddenly ran out of their rooms when the snake moved within. Reports indicated that the cobra crept into the commode through the toilet pipe and then into a hostel room.
In early 2024, a five-foot-long cobra had appeared in a toilet bowl in Bengaluru's JP Nagar after heavy rains lashed the city. The reptile was rescued and afterwards released into the forest.
