Recently, Poonam Pandey shared some insight into her spiritual experience as she took part in the sacred Shahi Snan at the Maha Kumbh. Millions of devotees attend the grand religious event at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh for a holy dip in the Ganga, hoping to achieve spiritual purification.
In the pictures, Poonam can be seen sporting a black printed shirt with the print of ‘Mahakal’ and ‘Jai Mahakal’ along with the ‘Om’ symbol. Mahakal is one of the most revered forms of Lord Shiva. After taking a dip in the river, she did Suryanamaskar.
She also uploaded pictures of some other devotee applying haldi and sandalwood paste to her forehead which is said to bring god’s blessings. Along with it, Poonam captured the entire essence of the Shahi Snan through some clips uploaded which show how many people came, showing that they were deep within the ritual to gain divine sight. Thousands thronged to Ganga as the timing is considered to be auspicious by the people of this religious sect.

Beyond participating in the Shahi Snan, she fully embraced the festival’s spiritual vibrance—taking boat rides, feeding birds, witnessing the revered evening aartis along the ghats, and even dancing with fellow devotees in celebration of the holy occasion.
Poonam Pandey Mourns Stampede Tragedy
Amid the religious fervor, the crowd surged manifold, resulting in a stampede that injured several people and claimed many lives. Praying for the departed souls to reach peace and moksha, Poonam said,.
Summing up her Maha Kumbh experience-from devotion and unwavering faith to the heartbreaking tragedy-she wrote, “Mahakumbh… Witnessing life up close, where a 70-year-old walks barefoot for hours, where faith knows no limits. Feeling deeply for those who lost their lives, hoping they find moksh. The devotion here has left me speechless…
