A video from Bihar’s Samastipur has gone viral, showing vehicles that look like those in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official convoy being washed at a local car cleaning station. The short clip, reportedly shot by the car wash owner himself, shows several black SUVs being cleaned in a regular setup, much like any other car.

The video quickly grabbed public attention after being shared on social media platforms. Many users claimed that one of the vehicles seen in the clip is the same one in which Prime Minister Modi usually travels.

PM’s Car at Local Wash Station in Samastipur

In the video, a black SUV is seen at a simple washing point in Samastipur. Workers are washing the vehicle with water, scrubbing its body, and polishing the tires. The surroundings look ordinary, with people chatting casually in the background. Nothing in the scene appears special or high-security, which is what made the clip so surprising for viewers.

According to online users, the car in question matches the official vehicle used by the Prime Minister. Some social media posts claim the number plate in the video confirms it as Modi’s car.

"The Prime Minister's car is being washed at a local car wash. The car wash owner made the video and posted it on Instagram. Please note, this isn’t one of the cars from the PM’s cavalcade, but THE car in which the PM travels. I’m sure there must be a dedicated washing and servicing area for the PM’s cavalcade in the government setup, duly supervised by the SPG. Then how did this happen? A potential security disaster!" one user wrote on X.

Social Media Buzz and Concerns

Soon after the clip went viral, users started questioning how the official vehicle could end up in a local car wash. Many called it a possible “security lapse” or “protocol breach.” Others found it amusing and said it showed that even the Prime Minister’s car goes through regular cleaning like everyone else’s.

The video was initially posted by the Instagram account named Vishwakarma Motor Vijay, believed to be the car wash owner’s page. However, the page now appears to be deleted. This raised further curiosity about whether the post was taken down after the controversy erupted.

Symbolic Moment Sparks Debate

While officials have not yet confirmed the details behind the incident, some sources suggest that the car may not belong directly to the SPG convoy but could be one of the official vehicles used during visits. Either way, the moment has become a talking point online.

The viral video serves as a reminder that even the most secure and high-profile systems can have unexpected moments of simplicity — or concern.
