The couple got engaged in New York, where Hassan, 32, now resides after leaving Pakistan. Pooja, a Hindu, will convert to Hassan’s religion before their marriage, though it’s unclear whether this decision is voluntary or influenced.
Sharing his excitement on social media, Hassan posted, “Thrilled to share that I’m engaged! I asked the love of my life to be mine forever, and she said yes! Excited for all the adventures ahead together.”
