A brother in Pakistan Hujrah Shah Muqeem, located in Depalpur Tehsil of Okara District, Punjab, used his sister’s exam failure as an excuse for violence, shooting her after she failed her ninth-grade exam, according to ARY News. The suspect fled the scene, and authorities have initiated a search operation to apprehend him, with a case filed by the victim’s mother.
In a separate incident in Kabirwala, Punjab, a stepson killed his two stepbrothers following a dispute over a marriage. The suspect, Muneer Ahmed, reportedly shot one brother and stabbed the other. Witnesses said Ahmed chased his second stepbrother through the streets before fatally attacking him. Police quickly arrived and arrested him.
In another incident in Lahore’s Hanjarwal area, a man killed his two brothers-in-law over a personal dispute related to a family disagreement about a marriage. The victim’s sister had married Fahad without her family’s approval, but her relatives later brought her back. In retaliation, Fahad and his accomplices allegedly shot and killed the two brothers while they were working at a milk shop.
