Noida Society Guards Beat Man With Sticks; 5 Arrested | Viral Video

A disturbing video depicting security personnel from a housing society in Noida brutally beating a man with sticks has gone viral. The footage shows the victim lying unresponsive on the ground while the guards continue to strike him. Onlookers at the scene remain passive without intervening. Another man is seen quarrelling with the guards and is subsequently manhandled and ejected from the gates.

Journalist Nishant Sharma shared the video on X, stating, “Hooliganism by security personnel has surfaced in Noida. Guards of the society assaulted a young man with sticks. The condition of the young man is critical.” The incident occurred at Futec Gateway in Sector 75, Noida, on July 7, with the video being circulated online two days later on July 9.

The specific cause of the altercation remains unclear, and the identities of the victims have not been disclosed. Reportedly, the two men had visited the gated housing society to meet someone but ended up in a confrontation with the security guards for reasons unknown. According to India Today, the guards alleged that the men were intoxicated. Following the video’s circulation, Noida police took action, arresting five individuals involved in the violence. They continue efforts to identify and apprehend others involved. Police have assured that “strict legal action will be taken against the accused.”

Commenting on the video, an X user remarked, “No one has the right to take the law into their own hands. The law itself is capable.”

Another commenter stated, “The attackers will likely get bail in a few days. But shouldn’t the security agency be blacklisted? What about these so-called security guards? Can you please check if the guards have prior cases against them?

A third person wrote, “Cases of murder or attempted murder should be filed against all of them. Additionally, charges of inciting unrest and gang violence should also be brought.”

There have been widespread calls for action against those involved in the assault on a lone individual. The progression of the case remains to be seen.
