Noida: 20 Year Old Arrested For Death Threat To Zeeshan Siddique And Salman Khan

A 20-year-old man has been arrested in Noida for allegedly issuing death threats to Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddiqui, a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and son of the late NCP (Ajit Pawar) leader Baba Siddique, who was tragically shot dead on October 12. The accused, identified as Gufran Khan, is now in custody, having been taken on a transit remand by the Mumbai Police.

Threats Sent to Siddiqui’s Office

The threatening messages were reportedly sent to Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra on Friday evening, demanding a ransom for the safety of both Khan and Siddiqui. Following the receipt of these messages, a staff member at Siddiqui’s office promptly registered a police complaint, leading to the filing of an FIR. Through their investigation, police identified another suspect, Mohammed Tayyab, as the individual behind the threats, resulting in his arrest.

Connection to Previous Threats

This incident follows the earlier arrest of Shaikh Hussain Shaikh Mausin, a 24-year-old vegetable seller from Jamshedpur, who had sent a threatening message via Mumbai traffic police’s WhatsApp helpline. That message demanded a ransom of ₹5 crore, heightening concerns over the safety of public figures.

Ongoing Security Concerns for Salman Khan

Salman Khan has previously faced death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, with alarming incidents including gunfire outside his residence in Bandra back in April. In light of the ongoing threats, the actor’s security measures have been significantly intensified.

The recent threats against Zeeshan Siddique come just weeks after the shocking murder of his father, Baba Siddique, known for his close ties to Salman Khan. The police continue to investigate these threats and enhance security for those involved.
