The winners can download the claim form from the Nagaland State Lottery official website. Winners of amounts exceeding ₹10,000 are required to submit their claim to the Nagaland Office in Kolkata. The claim should be accompanied by the original ticket and valid identity proofs, according to lottery rules.
As per Section 194B of the Income-tax Act, 1961, prize money over ₹10,000 is required to be deducted at 30% TDS in the case of residents. Non-resident winners are taxed at 30% TDS, together with surcharge (wherever applicable) and 4% educational cess.
Nagaland State Lottery provides three daily draws of morning, evening, and night at a ticket price of only ₹6. Apart from the Nagaland series, Lottery Sambad offers several legal lotteries in 13 Indian states of West Bengal, Kerala, Maharashtra, Assam, Sikkim, and Goa.
