A disturbing incident has come to light near the renowned Guruvayur Temple, involving a local restaurant owner who was allegedly caught on CCTV placing pubic hair on a sacred Tulsi altar.
The incident, which has sparked outrage on social media, reportedly occurred outside a Hindu establishment near the temple. The accused, identified as Hakeem, the owner of Paradise Restaurant, was seen in the video engaging in this unsanitary and disrespectful act.
The video, which has been widely shared on social media, has drawn strong condemnation from the public. The individual who shared the video urged people to “raise their voice against this indecent, disgusting behaviour.”
This incident comes amid concerns over a rise in “spit jihad” cases across India, where Muslim shopkeepers have been accused of spitting on goods sold to Hindu customers.
Local authorities are currently investigating the incident.
