The controversy erupted from a video filmed during a Ganesh Chaturthi religious ceremony, where Ambani is seen interacting with photographers. In the footage, Ambani appears to pull Radhika by holding her around the stomach, which has sparked widespread outrage online.

A user shared the video on X (formerly Twitter), commenting, “This is how Mukesh Ambani held Radhika Merchant. Someone should teach him about good touch and bad touch. She looked uncomfortable for a while!”
