The Union government on Friday launched a series of Studio Ghibli-style portraits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he joined the latest wave of trending AI-made animations.
The government shared 12 such photographs on X and wrote, “Main character? No. He’s the entire plot. Experience through New India in Studio Ghibli strokes.”

Modi’s Key Moments Recreated in Ghibli Style
Among the AI portraits, there was one that showed PM Modi with the US President Donald Trump and the French President Emmanuel Macron. Other recreations were his picture with the Tricolour, dressed in an Indian Army uniform, with the ‘Sengol’ being fixed in the new Parliament, and standing in front of the Ram Lalla idol.
More pictures revealed Modi standing in front of a Vande Bharat train, sitting on board a Tejas Twin Seat Light Combat Fighter on a 2023 sortie, touring the Maldives, and participating in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
