MHADA Pune Lottery Dates Cancelled Due to Technical Issues

The Pune board had scheduled the lottery on December 16 or 17, but it has now been cancelled due to technical glitches, increasing the wait time for applicants.

Draft List of Eligible Applicants of MHADA Pune Lottery to Be Published Soon

The draft list of eligible applicants will be made available on the MHADA official website at 6 pm on Monday, providing applicants with an opportunity to check their eligibility.

Pre-Lottery Process and Registration Overview

The registration and application process began on September 11, 2025, for 4,186 houses, including:

  • 3,222 houses under the 20% Comprehensive Scheme

  • 864 houses under the 15% Integrated Scheme

Due to technical problems in the computer system, the pre-lottery process was extended twice, delaying the lottery.

MHADA Pune Lottery Applications and Deposits

A total of 2,15,847 applications were submitted with a deposit amount of Rs 446.97 crore, showing high demand for affordable housing in Pune.

Reasons Behind the Postponement of MHADA Pune Lottery Announcement

While the board cited technical reasons, sources reveal the delay is also due to the time needed to scrutinize over 2.15 lakh applications and finalize the draft list before publishing the final list.

Step-by-Step Process Before Final Lottery

  1. Draft list publication on MHADA website

  2. Call for hearings or objections from applicants

  3. Final list publication of eligible applicants

This process has led to the postponement of the December 16-17 lottery.

New Lottery Date Yet to Be Announced

MHADA officials have not confirmed the new lottery date but stated an official announcement will be made soon, requiring applicants to wait a few more days.
