On the 20th annual Guinness World Records Day, a historic moment occurred. The world’s tallest woman, Rumeysa Gelgi, met the world’s shortest woman, Jyoti Amge, for the first time. They met at The Savoy Hotel in London. Jyoti, who holds the record for the shortest living woman, hails from India.

The video of Jyoti and Rumeysa meeting quickly went viral. People were fascinated to see the two women together. Jyoti Amge was born on December 16, 1993, in Nagpur, India. On her 18th birthday, she was officially declared the shortest woman by Guinness World Records.

Jyoti stands at 62.8 cm (2 feet ¾ inch). Her height is due to a condition called primordial dwarfism, a genetic disorder.
