At 100 years young, Andrew Bostinto still defies age and inspires generations as the world's oldest active bodybuilder. Barely six months after marking his centenary, he rocked audiences by taking the National Gym Association (NGA) physique championship, demonstrating how passion and discipline can triumph over time itself.
Bostinto's path started early; he was already training in parks when he was not even 13 years old, then progressing to gymnast and hand balancer. At 17, he was modeling, starting a lifetime of fitness. His maxim is simple: set your goals, stick to them, and disregard criticism. "Know what you want to do. Be disciplined," he offers.

In 1977, at age 52, he took his first title, Senior Mr. America, but his greatest accomplishment is serving in the army for 29 years, particularly fighting in World War II. With a stroke and ongoing leg problems due to his service, Bostinto continues training five to six days a week, modifying his exercises to meet his condition.
Discipline both defines his training and his diet. He always prioritized protein based diet for his regular intake, restricted carbohydrates, and plenty of water everyday (15 glasses a day) when he was young. Today, meals consist of scrambled eggs, yogurt, and spaghetti with meatballs. He does not overeat, smoke, or drink. Fitness is personal for Bostinto: "I didn't train for others; I trained for me."
