Married Prison Officer Caught Having Sex With Inmate, Flaunts Ankle Tag, Calls It ‘Very Demure’

A former prison officer, Linda De Sousa Abreu, who previously made headlines for engaging in sexual activities with an inmate, has once again found herself at the center of controversy. This time, the 30-year-old has sparked outrage by flaunting her ankle tag during a daytime party, referring to it as “very demure” and “very cutesy.”

Caught on Camera: The Ankle Tag Video

In a video that quickly gained attention, Prison Officer De Sousa Abreu is seen with her foot up on a table, stroking her ankle tag while quoting a viral TikTok trend. The video was recorded during a party at a daytime club, where she was heard laughing and making light of her situation. This has led to widespread criticism, with many accusing her of showing a lack of remorse for her past actions.

Previous Scandal: Sex with Inmate Caught on Camera

De Sousa Abreu first gained notoriety when she was caught on camera having sex with serial burglar Linton Weirich in his cell. The scandal led to her pleading guilty to misconduct in a public office at Isleworth Crown Court. Following the incident, a police investigation was launched after the video of the act went viral on social media, further tarnishing her reputation.

Public Outrage: “She Has No Shame”

Speaking to The Sun, a source expressed their disgust, saying, “It’s disgusting she has no shame.” The source added, “She is laughing her head off and looks happy she has a tag to show off.” The public backlash has been intense, with many criticizing De Sousa Abreu for treating her ankle tag like a piece of jewelry, downplaying the seriousness of her actions.

Strict Bail Conditions

Prison Officer De Sousa Abreu is currently under strict bail conditions, which include an electronically monitored curfew between 7 pm and 9 am each day. Additionally, she has had to surrender her Portuguese passport to the police and is prohibited from applying for international travel documents or entering any UK travel ports. During her hearing, Judge Martin Edmunds emphasized the severity of her situation, underscoring the consequences of her misconduct.

A Lack of Remorse

Despite the public outcry and legal repercussions, De Sousa Abreu’s recent actions suggest she remains unrepentant. Her behavior has only added to the controversy surrounding her case, with many questioning her attitude towards the punishment and the impact of her actions on public trust in the justice system.
