Mark Zuckerberg Wears Rs 1.18 Crore Patek Philippe Watch In Selfie With Priscilla Chan

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, recently shared a heartwarming selfie with his wife, Priscilla Chan, that has captured the internet’s attention. While the photo showcased their joyful moment together, it was Zuckerberg’s luxurious watch that became the talk of the town. The watch in question is a Platinum Patek Philippe in-line perpetual calendar, valued at an impressive $141,400 (approximately ₹1.18 crore).

A Closer Look at the Patek Philippe Watch

The watch features a groundbreaking perpetual calendar with a distinctive in-line display. This innovative design presents the day, date, and month together in a single large window positioned at 12 o’clock. The new self-winding movement (31-260 PS QL) includes an additional in-line display module, which enhances the clarity, originality, and reliability of the watch. Patek Philippe has applied for three patents for this technological advancement. The timepiece is housed in a platinum case with a blue dial that boasts a smooth satin finish and a black gradient around the edges.

Zuckerberg’s Evolving Taste in Watches

Previously, at the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, Zuckerberg had expressed his admiration for a Richard Mille watch owned by Ambani. Initially indifferent to high-end timepieces, Zuckerberg’s perspective shifted after seeing Ambani’s collection. “You know, I never really wanted to get a watch. But after seeing that, I was like, watches are cool,” Zuckerberg commented. His wife, Chan, joined in the enthusiasm, indicating that the exquisite timepieces had made a significant impression on them both.

Zuckerberg’s choice of the Patek Philippe watch not only highlights his refined taste but also underscores a growing trend among tech billionaires to embrace luxury in their personal lives. The Meta CEO’s latest accessory has certainly made waves in the fashion and tech circles, proving that even the most high-profile figures can be captivated by exceptional craftsmanship.
