The case of a shocking incident that came to the fore at Jaipur International Airport is of passenger DP Gurjar, who posted his ordeal on social media. At an airport cafe, Gurjar had ordered bread pakora and tea for Rs 200. However, after the first bite, he found a small dead cockroach inside the bread pakora.
Initially, Gurjar found bread pakora unappealing but continued eating until he came across the cockroach that grossed him out. He immediately complained to the staff of the cafe, but they ignored his complaints. Feeling nauseous and frustrated, Gurjar contacted the airport authorities but no response was received.
Frustrated, he took a video of the tainted food and uploaded it on the internet. It spread like wildfire overnight and concerns regarding the hygiene of the food at the airport’s cafe began to surface.
