In a viral Reddit post, a man struggling financially was helped by a stranger who sent Rs. 2,800, refusing repayment and calling it a Raksha Bandhan gift, inspiring many and restoring faith in humanity.

A reddit post is going viral for showcasing that compassion can appear anywhere at anytime. It reads the story of a person going through tough times and how he meets a complete stranger who helped him without asking for anything in return.

When this man faced financial troubles and was unable to pay the loan and overdue rent. He was waiting for an international client for an upcoming payment, but to a PayPal issue, he could not access funds. 

With no other choice, he turned to Reddit, asking if anyone with a working PayPal and UPI account could help him complete the transfer.

A Raksha Bandhan Gift

To his surprise, an unknown woman replied to his post. She patiently listened to his situation and showed genuine care. What happened next truly touched him, she sent him Rs. 2,800 from her own money.

When he offered to repay the money later, she declined and told him yo consider it a Raksha Bandhan gift from an elder sister.

Internet Applauds the Gesture

In his post, he wrote, “If you ever wonder whether genuine, good-hearted people still exist… they do. And sometimes, they show up when you need them most.”

His heartfelt message resonated with many readers, reminding them that kindness from strangers can be life-changing.

The post was shared on August 4 and quickly garnered 700 upvotes with many people praising the woman’s generosity and humbleness. 

One comment read, “Sometimes you end up on the good side of Reddit.”
