Man-eater Tiger Being Tied To Elephant Back Sparks Outrage: Animal Rights Groups Call for Justice | WATCH

A disturbing video, circulating widely on social media, has been seen recently and has stirred outrage from animal rights activists and users of social media. In the video, a tiger is shown restrained on an elephants back as two men twist its ears. This is an image of animal cruelty that many have condemned.

The Disturbing Footage and the Alleged Location

The video, shot in the year 2011, was recently shared by an X user named Guru where it gained attention in a short time. The user falsely claimed that the incident took place in Bihar saying, “This is Bihar, my friend! Here, even a flying bird is sprinkled with turmeric! Such amazing sights can only be witnessed in Bihar!” However, after checking out the facts, it has been found that the incident actually occurred in Nainital, Uttarakhand, not Bihar.

The Context of the Incident

The tiger in the video was said to be a man-eater, which, according to local reports, was eventually killed by forest officials. The team of officials used seven elephants and 32 rounds of ammunition to subdue the animal. Although the fate of the tiger may have been a concern because of its history, the video of its torture continues to stir intense discussions on how such cruel treatment of animals should not be tolerated.

Animal Rights Outrage

This disturbing footage has stirred many reactions from various social media users and celebrities. Television actress Kavita Kaushik spoke out against the brutal treatment of the tiger, saying that “Beyond cruel, Evil actually! And isn’t this illegal to say the least?” She tagged organisations such as PETA India, PETA, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging action to prevent further animal abuse.

The video has once again raised important questions about the treatment of animals and the need for stronger laws and regulations to protect wildlife. Animal rights groups have been vocal about the cruelty depicted in the video, urging authorities to take steps to ensure that such acts of cruelty are not allowed to continue in the future.

As the video continues to circulate, animal welfare advocates are hoping that it will lead to greater awareness and changes in how animals, especially tigers and other wildlife, are treated in such circumstances.
