Kova The Polar Bear’s Viral Belly Flop Steals The Show On TikTok

A heartwarming video of Kova the polar bear has gone viral on social media. In the clip, Kova performs a delightful belly flop into her pool at the Alaska Zoo, and people are loving it. The zoo posted the video on TikTok, and it quickly gained popularity, with many comparing Kova’s dive to an Olympic performance.

Katie Larso, the zoo’s grants director, mentioned that viewers appreciated how Kova lined up her feet and maintained a diving form before hitting the water. Comments like “10 out of 10 on her dive” and “Perfect form” have been flooding in.

Kova arrived at the Alaska Zoo as a cub in 2022 after being rescued by U.S. Fish and Wildlife biologists. She was initially kept in quarantine to ensure she was healthy. After her quarantine period, she was introduced to Cranbeary, another female polar bear who came from the Denver Zoo in 2018.

The introduction of Kova and Cranbeary went smoothly, and the zoo staff is thrilled to share these wonderful bears with the public.
