A horrifying murder case has come to light in Jhansi’s Kotwali police station area, where a woman was found dead in her home after an evening of drinking with her husband and boyfriend. The deceased, identified as Sangeeta, was the daughter-in-law of a former minister. As per investigations, her boyfriend, Rohit Valmiki, allegedly killed her while her intoxicated husband, Ravindra Ahirwar, lay unconscious on the sofa.
Gruesome Discovery and Police Intervention
The crime was exposed when Sangeeta’s daughter heard her mother’s desperate screams from the bedroom. When she attempted to intervene, Rohit reportedly locked the door. Unable to gain entry, the child alerted a tenant living in the house, who immediately informed the police. Upon arrival, officers found Sangeeta’s lifeless body on the bed, with Rohit lying next to her and her husband still passed out on the sofa. Both men were taken into custody.
Video Evidence and Postmortem Report
A video captured before the murder surfaced online, showing Rohit holding a glass of alcohol. According to the postmortem report, Sangeeta suffered nine injuries, confirming that she was brutally assaulted before her death.
