Watch : Zomato Agent Braves Rain to Find Customer Stuck in Traffic

The increase in food delivery app usage has made ordering meals from outside more common. While most people place orders from home or the office, a recent video shows an unusual scenario where someone ordered food while stuck in traffic.

Video of Zomato Delivery Agent in the Rain

The video, posted on the Instagram page “Delhi Visit,” features a Zomato delivery agent searching for a customer in the rain. The caption, “Somebody ordered food in the traffic jam,” indicates that the footage was taken on Mehrauli-Gurugram Road.

Agent’s Effort Amid Bad Weather

In the clip, the delivery agent is seen walking in the rain, talking on the phone, and holding a food order while trying to find the customer. The video has gained over 240,000 views and nearly 3,000 likes, leading to various comments from viewers.

Mixed Reactions from Instagram Users

Support for Delivery Agent: “Respect to such hardworking people who, despite the bad weather, delivered you your stuff,” wrote one user.

Criticism of Customer: Another commented, “This is so inhuman. Respect everyone. It’s raining.”

Questioning the Value: A third user asked, “Not cool. I know he’s earning, but is it worth the amount?”

Comment on Privilege: A fourth added, “Talk about privilege; Delhi NCR tops the list.”

  • Previous Incident of Delivery Agent in Water
  • In a similar incident, another delivery agent was seen navigating through waist-deep water to deliver food. While the agent received praise for his dedication, there were calls for Zomato to consider suspending deliveries during severe weather conditions.
