Coldplay’s much-awaited concerts in Ahmedabad are creating waves all over India as they are going to be the biggest concerts that the British band has ever conducted in the country. Fans from all over the country thronged Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat to witness a show to remember through Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and manager Phil Harvey, in their Music of the Spheres World Tour.It was to be an unforgettable experience, especially with the electrifying energy, dazzling lights, and magical ambiance.
The excitement about Coldplay did not stay on the ground but rather flew into the air! Video footage of IndiGo Captain Pradeep Krishnan talking to the passengers on board a Pune-Ahmedabad flight, many of whom were on their way to the concert, has been caught. The Captain humorously asked, “How many of you are going to the Coldplay concert? How many of you have two extra tickets?” which raised cheers and laughter on board.
Passengers turned the flight into a pre-concert celebration by recreating the iconic Coldplay Sky Full of Stars moment when they all switch on their phone flashlights. The dimmed cabin lit up with excitement as they spread the magic of the band before the concert even started.

Two Magical Nights at Narendra Modi Stadium
Coldplay’s Ahmedabad concerts marked the final stop of their India leg, following earlier performances in Mumbai.Two consecutive nights witnessed the stadium pulsating as jubilant crowds danced to the band’s chart-topping hits. The mesmerizing visuals, air full of confetti, and throbbing music were left to drench the memory in a way it would cherish forever.
The Gujarat Police ensured that the concerts were safe for all the visitors. They used over 3,800 officers and placed 400 CCTV cameras across the venue while placing plainclothes officers in different places of the venue. Ahmedabad Police JCP Neeraj Kumar Badgujar said, “Metal detectors, crime branch teams, and continuous CCTV monitoring ensured everything went smoothly.” This proper security system enabled the fans to solely enjoy the magic of the electrifying performances of Coldplay.
