Rajpal Yadav Criticizes Allhabadia’s Comment
The argument started after Ranveer Allahbadia’s inappropriate remark on parent intimacy came at Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent roast. Although Allahbadia has publicly apologized, many FIRs have been filed against him and Raina for supposedly disseminating vulgarity across the internet.
Rajpal Yadav expressed his dissatisfaction, “Aise video dekhne mein bhi sharam aati hai. Humara desh hai woh jiski sanskriti mein mata-pita ki ijjat karna hai.”
Rajpal also expressed the increasing tendency of creatives to pursue viral fame at the price of decency and said our society shows us how to honor parents.
Yadav openly said his dismay, “This is what our youth is seeking for cheap popularity? How can they stoop so low as to not even spare their parents? They need therapy. Don’t make people despise art by turning it into something quite awful. Some people, including them, are stifling artistic output. Respect your society, honor your parents.”
Mumbai Police started an inquiry, and the contentious episode was taken off the site in response to the criticism. Concurrently, debates are ongoing on digital creators’ responsibility for influencing societal conversation.
