The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) is gearing up for its awards ceremony on Friday in the Australian city. Bollywood stars attending the festival took the opportunity to explore Melbourne and enjoy some downtime together.
Malaika Arora, who is also at the festival, shared a series of photos on Instagram showcasing her time in the city. In one photo, she is seen leaning against a wall on a Melbourne street, posing with fellow Bollywood celebrities including filmmakers Karan Johar and Kabir Khan, actors Kartik Aaryan and Lakshya from ‘Kill’, and former film critic and Dharma Cornerstone Agency COO Rajeev Masand, among others.
Malaika wore a black crop top, brown mini skirt, and matching overcoat paired with black leather pants. Karan Johar opted for a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and a coordinating jacket. Kartik Aaryan donned a grey suit, while Kabir Khan was dressed in a navy blue jacket and blue jeans. Lakshya made his IFFM debut in a grey jacket and black pants. Another photo shared by Malaika shows her walking with Karan’s arm linked with hers, along with a breathtaking city view from her hotel room.

The IFFM 2024, celebrating its 15th edition, will host its awards ceremony on August 16 at the Palais Theatre. Shah Rukh Khan is nominated for Best Actor for his performances in *Dunki* and *Jawan*, competing against Vikrant Massey, Fahadh Faasil, Ranveer Singh, Kartik Aaryan, and Mithun Chakraborty.
In the Best Actress category, Alia Bhatt is nominated for *Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani* and will contend with Jyothika, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and emerging talents Nitanshi Goel and Pratibha Ranta from *Laapataa Ladies*.
The OTT categories see nominations for shows like *Heeramandi*, *Poacher*, and *Made In Heaven* Season 2. The festival, which started on August 15, will run until August 25.
