Move over simple vanilla—Hyderabad has introduced a dessert that screams luxury. A video featuring a gold-plated ice cream cone from the eatery ‘Huber and Holly’ has gone viral, racking up over 10 million views since it was uploaded on March 6. Priced at ₹1,200, the decadent dessert has been dubbed the “Ambani ice cream” by amused netizens.

The now-viral reel was shared by Instagram food vlogger ‘Foodiedaakshi’, who teased her followers with the caption, “Most Expensive ice cream of INDIA Batao kab khilaoge?” In the video, a staff member is seen crafting the lavish dessert—starting with chocolate chunks, liquid chocolate, almonds, and multiple scoops of chocolate ice cream. A thick layer of cream follows, before the real showstopper is added: gold foil.

Elevating the dessert even more, it is served not in a regular cup or bowl but on a gleaming golden tray, adding to its upscale vibe.

The reaction on social media was instant and overwhelming. While some users admired the creativity and extravagance, others found the concept amusing. One commented, “Mujhe agar wo 20rs wali kulfi bhi khilade fir bhi khush ho jaungi,” while another simply said, “Wow! This looks amazing.”

Despite the mixed reactions, the dessert has become a talking point across platforms—some calling it an art piece, others calling it excessive. One thing’s for sure: Hyderabad’s gold-plated ice cream has definitely made its mark on the dessert scene.
