A shocking incident unfolded in Suravali village, Jalaun district, Uttar Pradesh, where a 36-year-old man was brutally murdered over allegations of an illicit relationship. The accused, including the woman’s husband, are currently on the run, and police have launched a manhunt to arrest them.
Murder Over Alleged Affair
On Saturday evening, Sandeep, a resident of Suravali village, was attacked with an axe after being caught in a compromising position with a married woman, Madhuri. The woman’s husband, Pawan, allegedly discovered them together and, in a fit of rage, picked up an axe and attacked Sandeep.
Brother Joins In The Attack
As the confrontation escalated, Pawan’s brother, Ramji, also joined in the assault. Sandeep suffered severe injuries and was rushed to the Primary Health Center in Kuthaund. Due to his critical condition, he was referred to a higher medical facility in Orai, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police Investigation and Search for Accused
Following the incident, Inspector-in-Charge Ajay Brahma Tiwari and his team reached the crime scene and took possession of the victim’s body for post-mortem. Additional Superintendent of Police Pradeep Kumar Verma confirmed that the murder was motivated by an extramarital affair.
“The deceased, Sandeep, had an illicit relationship with Pawan’s wife for the past four years. Pawan and his brother attacked him after catching him in an objectionable condition. The accused are currently absconding, but we are making every effort to arrest them soon,” the police official stated.
Ongoing Search for Justice
The local police have registered a case and launched a manhunt for the accused. Authorities assure that swift legal action will be taken against those responsible for the gruesome crime.
