Viral footage has surfaced on various social media of a man who was performing a high-speed stunt with his bicycle and lost control in mid-air, crashing.
The incident was captured by a camera mounted on a fellow rider’s helmet and serves as a grim warning about the risks of performing dangerous stunts on public roads.
This short clip shows two riders racing down what seems to be a deserted highway. One of the men, clearly trying to perform some dangerous stunt, is seen standing upright on his motorcycle seat while the bike is in motion.
He is riding at quite a speed, utterly disregarding safety norms and vehicle operation standards.

And as he makes the attempt to stay upright on two wheels, the inevitable happens: at high speed, and with the lack of proper control, he suddenly loses his footing. Tossed off of the bike, he tumbles onto the hard road surface and slides precariously.
In a surprising and lucky turn of events, the rider slides onto the grass verge and apparently lands safely. But the unmanned motorcycle continues its trajectory.
Veering sharply off the shoulder of the highway rather than falling onto the road, the bike plunges down a steep drop, described by onlookers as more like a deep ditch or even a cave-like drop-off. The bike disappears completely, likely very heavily damaged.
It ends with the camera panning back to the downed rider, who quickly gets up and seems uninjured. He’s soon mobbed by the fellow rider who took the video and onlookers who flocked to his aid.
Though the man himself walked away with what seemed to be minor injuries, the bike is completely destroyed a sure sign of what happens when irresponsibility is undertaken.

The biker’s unbelievable good fortune in being able to walk away without serious injury while his motorcycle was lost underlines the thin margin between thrill-seeking and disaster.
