Due to a controversy over Ranveer Allahabadia’s comment, the videos of sensation Samay Raina’s show ‘India’s Got Latent’ were taken down from YouTube. The show has been taking over everybody’s watch list and created hype like no other. The controversy surrounding ‘Latent’ continues to trigger the comedy world. In ‘The Escape Room’, Comedian Harsh Gujral’s recent show was creating its presence on YouTube, but due to the Latent controversy, Gujral has deleted all the episodes of his show.
After such huge success of India Got Latent, his last episode featuring Ranveer Allahabadia and Apporva Mukhija aka “The Rebel Kid” got caught up in a controversy due to inappropriate comments from the guests and Samay Raina as well. The show-makers and the guests faced serious backlash from the public and Ranveer even apologized to the public as well saying, “I shouldn’t have said what I said on Latent. I’m sorry” in his Instagram Post
Latent and The Escape Room were quite similar which explored and based on the theme of dark comedy and explicit content. The Escape Room premiered in December 2024, with only two episodes on the same, and now the two have been taken down by the creator. The participants on the show had to confess their deepest darkest secrets while their identities remained anonymous.
Apoorva Unfollows Everyone
Apporva Mukhija aka The Rebel Kid has also been dragged down by the public following her insensitive comment on India’s Got Latent.
Following this incident Apporva unfollowed everybody on Instagram after FIRs were raised against her.

Vishal Dadalni Support Samay
Moreover, the music director Vishal Dadlani came to the support of Samay and posted on his Instagram story, ‘Will you let this sensation being created every day about Samay Raina continue, or will you join it for once and stop this extremely hypocritical nonsense?’
The government wanted to control online content. They were trying this for a long time and they were being stopped. Now, this wave of debate and anger is being created on TV, and our poor public is losing its freedom in its fury.’
