‘Hari Likes Risks’: Bengaluru Man Drives With 3 Dogs On Car Roof And Abuses People | WATCH

A man from Bengaluru was seen driving his car with three dogs precariously standing on the roof in the busy Kalyan Nagar area, triggering outrage. The incident which happened on December 3 raised concern about animal safety and road hazards. When he was confronted by a fellow motorist about the risky act, the car driver responded with verbal abuse rather than addressing the concerns.

Reckless Act Caught on Camera

The bizarre scene was filmed by a commuter who stopped his vehicle to question the driver. In the clip, the motorist can be seen uttering, “Excuse me, this’s not safe,” only for his words to be met by a barrage of expletives and abusive language. Instead of stopping, the man proceeded to drive with the canines on the roof for some almost 2 kilometers. The car which bore a “Press” tag and a phrase inscribed “Hari likes risks” was reportedly playing music in the vehicle at deafening levels while driving.

Public Outrage and Police Response

The video of the incident quickly went viral on social media, with netizens criticising it in large numbers. People tagged the Bengaluru City Police, calling for strict action against the driver. The police responded by confirming on X (formerly Twitter) that they had sent a notification to the Banasawadi local police station for further investigation.

“Necessary action has been initiated,” the Bengaluru City Police stated, tagging the Deputy Commissioner of Police, East Division, to ensure appropriate follow-up.

Risk to Animals and Public Safety

Transporting dogs on the top of a car without harness or any protection was condemned for both endangering the animals and other road users. Most internet users noted the need for stronger law enforcement measures to curtail such reckless activities and take care of the animals.

As the incident continues to generate attention, the authorities are also expected to take measures to correct the violation and set an example against such negligent acts.
