A viral video of a couple tying the knot in snow-capped hills of Spiti Valley has taken the internet by storm. The couple are originally from Gujarat and it is said that it was the bride’s long-time wish to marry her groom in the lap of the Himalayas.
With that being said, it cannot be forgotten that it is been done at -25°C. An officer of the HP Government, Ajay Banyal shared the viral video on X (formerly known as Twitter). The event took place in the Murang Village, situated in Udaipur of Lahaul and Spiti district.
The post garnished mixed reactions from netizens. Some praised the couple’s bravery while some expressed their concerns over possible damage to the natural beauty of the Himalayas during these events.
A viewer commented, “They are destroying the natural beauty of mountains. Unnecessary rush and pollution just for the sake of reels.”
