A tragic incident unfolded in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday when an old, dilapidated building suddenly collapsed in broad daylight, filling the streets with debris and dust. The shocking moment was captured on a nearby CCTV camera, showing the dramatic fall of the century-old structure. While no human casualties were reported, a passing dog was tragically crushed under the debris, and several parked motorcycles suffered damage.
CCTV Captures the Devastating Collapse
The viral footage from the incident spot—Chota Chauraha Doodh Wali Gali—reveals regular movement on the street before disaster struck. Moments before the collapse, a dog was seen approaching the road. As the building began to give way, the animal attempted to flee but was unable to escape in time and was buried under the rubble.

Authorities Rush to the Scene
Following the incident, fire department officials, along with MLA Manish Asija and local police, arrived at the scene to assess the damage. According to police sources, the structure had 16 legal shareholders, none of whom resided in the building.
