A screenshot showing him saying, “Ye sab private cheeze internet pe mat daala karo yaar,” went viral, triggering endless gossip. However, a fact check confirms this screenshot is entirely fake and was never posted on the official Instagram announcement.
An altered screenshot that went popular on sites like Instagram and X (previously Twitter) was the starting point of the fraudulent claim. It appeared to show a comment from Salman Khan’s verified profile under Katrina and Vicky’s baby announcement. The line, translating to “Don’t share such private stuff on the internet,” resonated with fans who remember the duo’s history, sparking mass sharing and debate online.
A direct investigation of the original Instagram post reveals the truth. On the verified accounts of both Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, where they shared the joyful announcement, there is no record of any such comment from Salman Khan. While many Bollywood celebrities have left genuine wishes in the comments, Salman’s name is nowhere to be seen. His missing handle clearly shows the viral image was edited to attract attention and spread false gossip.
While fake news swirled, the genuine family reaction has been one of pure elation. Vicky Kaushal’s father, veteran action director Sham Kaushal, expressed his overwhelming happiness on social media. He called the newborn a “blessing from God” and shared a heartfelt note in Hindi. He expressed his gratitude, writing, “Shukriya Rab Da... Bhagwan ki meherbani aise hi mere bachon pe aur sabse junior Kaushal pe bani rahe. Hum sab bahut khush hain aur bahut blessed hain (Thank you, God... May God's grace remain on my children and the youngest Kaushal like this. We are all very happy and very blessed).”

Parenthood now takes center stage for Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. The pair, who married privately in Rajasthan in 2021, went public with their pregnancy news in September 2025. Salman Khan, meanwhile, has his hands full with Battle of Galwan, an Apoorva Lakhia-directed action drama tipped to be one of 2026’s major releases. He’s currently immersed in its filming.
