Dog Climbs Pyramid: Viral Sensation Returns Safely to Ground

Recently, a dog made headlines when it climbed to the top of a pyramid in Egypt, capturing the attention of millions on social media. The remarkable sight was recorded by paraglider Marshall Mosher as he flew over the ancient structures. The footage of the dog joyfully chasing birds from a height of 448 feet left viewers in awe of its adventurous spirit.

Initially, Mosher shared his astonishment on Instagram, exclaiming, “A dog climbed all the way up the Great Pyramid of Giza!” However, he later clarified that the dog had actually scaled the Pyramid of Khafre, which is slightly shorter but still impressive at 448 feet.

What Happened to the Dog?

While over 25 million viewers were captivated by the video, many animal lovers expressed concern about the dog’s safety. They worried that the pup might be stranded atop the pyramid and how it would manage to get down.

Determined to help, Mosher launched a rescue mission the following day. He noted that the dog was one of several that roam near the pyramids. However, despite his efforts to spot the dog again while paragliding, he initially had no luck.

Fortunately, the next day, he shared some good news with his followers: the dog had descended from the pyramid on its own.

He posted on Instagram, “The famous dog of the Great Pyramids was finally seen coming back down after his morning climb by @retreatours,” along with video evidence of the dog skillfully navigating the rocky surface of the pyramid.

Animal lovers rejoiced upon seeing the dog reunited with its companions, relieved that it had safely returned to solid ground.
